This Great Dane was spotted perching itself quite comfortably on the London Underground’s Central line.
‘What I would have loved to see is the owner obeying the carry your dog on the escalator rule,’ one user wrote on Reddit, where the image was first shared.
Another added: ‘This is the beginning of something big, I can feel it in my bones. Rise of the dogs… first they take our public transport, then our jobs and wives.’
It was also highlighted that besides from taking up a priority seat, the giant dog was also making direct eye contact with the man opposite him, breaking the Tube’s number one unwritten rule.
Amid criticism of the dog’s owner for taking up a seat from fee-paying customers, it was suggested that because it was so cute it did not have to pay a fare… an interesting strategy to adopt next time you forget to touch in.
