An Indian businessman spent almost $214,000 on a shirt made of 18-22 carat gold to celebrate his 45th birthday – and show off how much money he’s got.
Although seeing the finished look, maybe he should ask for his money back.
The shirt belonging to Pankaj Parakh, who owns a multi-million pound textiles company in Mumbai, weighs 4kg but remains ‘fully flexible and comfortable’ according to The Times of India.
A team of 20 people are said to have spent 3,200 hours making the shirt, which might not be to everyone’s tastes.
Mr Parakh admitted: ‘Gold always fascinated me since I was five years old and studying in school. Over the years, I have become passionate about this royal metal.
